Most of the work we do is too varied to quote sight-unseen. Tell us what you need and we agree a time, including out of hours if your site cannot be disrupted during working time. An engineer walks the site with you, takes notes and measurements, and asks the questions that affect price. You then get a written quote, with options where they exist rather than a single take-it-or-leave-it figure. Larger or multi-site projects may take longer or need a second visit, and we tell you up front if that is likely.

Manchester is our home patch, with the office in Trafford Park (M17) covering Trafford, Salford, the city centre and the inner suburbs, plus Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside and Wigan. Leeds across the LS postcodes, the inner suburbs and the surrounding towns. We also cover Cheshire, the rest of Merseyside, Lancashire and the southern edge of Cumbria.
Core Comms is based at Unit 4 Willan Enterprise Centre, Fourth Avenue, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1DB. Trafford Park is five minutes off the M60 at junction 9 and under ten minutes from Manchester city centre, with Liverpool about an hour west and Leeds about an hour east on the M62. Visits are by appointment only.

Most jobs sit within an hour of our Trafford Park office, but we travel further for multi-site contracts and specialist work such as Starlink installs on rural sites. Yes, for almost every job the first survey is free. We visit your site, walk the layout with you, take the measurements we need, and come back with a written quote. The only times we flag a charge up front are very large multi-site surveys and specialist designs, for example a detailed predictive WiFi heatmap survey, which is quoted separately.
Most enquiries received in working hours are answered the same day, and out-of-hours messages are picked up the next working morning. For urgent issues such as a CCTV system that has gone down, a network outage or a phone system not taking calls, phone us rather than emailing so you reach an engineer faster.
